This place in the theater district elevates sandwich making to a fine art. Carve has a winning way with turkey: have it in the New Cobb with smoked bacon and guacamole, or as Thanksgiving on a Roll, with apple stuffing and cranberry mayo. We're talking real turkey, not disgusting turkey roll. The Steak House combines tender roast beef with a layer of crispy shoestring potatoes and blue cheese dressing. Two items best eaten over a desk are the Far East Tuna, with fresh tuna served in a romaine lettuce leaf, and the Pork San Juan, with roast pork shoulder, shallots, and other tasty things in a wrap. If you'd like to try the whole sandwich menu all at once, you can't, but you can come close with the packages of three mini-sandwiches known as Indecision (turkey, pork, steak) or the Veggie Bento Box. Carve also offers breakfasts, soups, and custom-made salads.
