Chocolate: our favorite drug. Nothing you'd find in a supermarket can coat your tongue like the Bar's hot cocoa, a liquid confection with fine-ground chocolate and steamed milk. The hazelnut variation makes the flavor even more complex, while the spicy one gently lights up the whole mouth. Also available: caramel, peppermint, and classic. For the lactose-intolerant there's soy cocoa, orange-pear tea, and caramel cider. The brownies and mints melt in your mouth. If you'd rather keep your jaw busy, try the large nougat bar with hazelnuts, pistachios, almonds, and caramel. The round mound known as the Elvis almost gleams with its coating of dark chocolate concealing an interior with marshmallow—gourmet marshmallow—and crunchy peanut butter. Finally, if you're counting calories, try the Tablets, with various shades of chocolate enlivened by citrus: milk mandarin, dark lime, and white lemon.
