Cash onlyDoma is the Czech word for "home" or "indoors." Gregarious hip young things, moms with kids, and veteran Villagers all feel at home at this peaceful West Village spot, usually filling most of the tables of an interior with regularly rotated artwork hung on bright brick walls. The panino sandwiches (served with mesclun in tasty lemon vinaigrette) include "all-natural local" smoked turkey, plus the Doma Panino with artichoke, fennel, melted morbier cheese, and tangy tomato dressing. Among the snacks is the DomOlive plate, a pile of bread and black olives swimming in the most delicious olive oil we've ever tasted, flavored with lemon and fiery red peppers. Desserts include a brownie sundae and homemade tiramisu. For breakfast try the guacamole omelet, or palacinka—a Czech crepe with Nutella, granola, strawberries, bananas, and whipped cream.
