Fat and juicy is how they make 'em at this high-end burger joint. The signature 5 Napkin Burger oozes with carmelized onions, gruyere, and rosemary aioli. Much as we love it, we love the Bacon-Cheddar Burger with raw onion even better. We'd even call it reference-quality. For a change of pace try the Lamb Kofta, Italian Turkey, or Veggie burgers. The Ahi Tuna Burger is especially praiseworthy. There is also a Burger for Two (twin 8 oz. patties) and an Inside Out Burger (wrapped in lettuce). Starters—for eating-contest winners, who else has room?—include Deep Fried Pickles & Pastrami and Pork Taquitos. Also on the menu are sushi, cooked seafood, and salads. The decor of the UWS branch is charming with white-tiled walls and decorative scales.
