It looks small from the outside but is huge on the inside. And Fratelli's caters to outsize appetites with unfailingly fresh and appealing food. Show up for lunch and enjoy the cappelloni with clams, scallops, and shrimp—the seafood is firm and fresh-tasting. Come in groups and you can enjoy any of several huge platters for 2+ people: cold seafood, hot antipasto, Little Neck clams, Land and Sea (steak, shrimp, chicken, lobster, clams, crab, broccoli, linguini), the Parmigiana Special (veal, chicken, shrimp, eggplant, penne), or Zuppa di Pesce (shrimp, mussels, clams, calamari, scungilli, crab, lobster, linguine). Dinner pricing is on the high side of moderate, but quality ingredients in huge quantities do cost money, and Fratelli's is capable of pleasant surprises—the sweet onion bread is worth returning for in itself.
