This narrow, long, airy space is unpretentious and pleasant. Those seeking high-end fare at a moderate price will feel welcome at lunchtime when the prix fixe menu includes soup or greens plus a pair of pasta selections, fish, and chicken. Pasta dishes are perfect here. Orechetti Italiano with fabulous spicy Italian sausage and broccoli rabe and tomato cream sauce had us thinking: "We’ve never tasted that before." And if you’re avoiding meat and/or fat, the linguine in garlic and white wine will satisfy. For a starter try the lump crab cakes which have the true texture and taste of crab meat. The dinner menu has a full complement of meat, poultry, and seafood—we're saving the braised rabbit for a future visit. Service is both friendly and helpful. Here’s a congenial hideaway where you can enjoy high-end cuisine.
