This modest yet exceptional Chinese restaurant is an oasis of hearty and affordable dining amid the pretentious eateries of Chelsea. Simplicity is bliss, as we discovered with the steamed salmon, delicate and moist, served with fresh garlic or black bean sauce. Noodles are a specialty of the house and the Mee Fun (thin rice noodles) with shredded duck have made us happy a half-dozen times. For a really impressive mound of animal protein get the Three Treasure Duck with jumbo shrimp, chicken, pork, and fresh mixed veg, topped with boneless duck. Also satisfying are the large segmented Sushi Combination Boxes with your choice of chicken teriyaki, shrimp tempura, or salmon teriyaki plus two tuna rolls, two salmon rolls, and four California rolls. If your doctor has read you the riot act, design your own veg plate, steamed or sauteed, with brown or white rice.
