We wandered into this pretty neighborhood place without knowing anything about it and found first-rate Italian food at reasonable prices. Our dish of fresh-made fusilli with a light pomodoro (plum tomato) sauce sent us to pasta heaven. The four-piece hot antipasto platter was half seafood, half vegetable; no complaints about the tasty baked clam and juicy piece of shrimp, but the stuffed mushroom was exceptional, and we loved the ricotta-stuffed rolled eggplant so much we could live on it for a month (and we thought we didn't like eggplant). For a quick lunch, the sandwiches will fill you up expertly while hardly denting your cash supply—a good thing since the restaurant doesn't accept plastic. The meatball parm hero is good, the potato and egg hero even better, and both come on amazingly fresh bread.
