Visa, MC, AmExHere's where to go if you want to enjoy beer, burgers, and other pub food in a congenial 1892-vintage setting. It's got that old-timey bar atmosphere, complete with tile floor and pressed-tin ceiling, yet is not particularly cramped or filthy. There are booths in the ground-floor bar space and even more of them in the more spacious dining room upstairs. With various seasonal draft beers on tap, along with Sierra Nevada Pale year-round, no one complains about the beer. The reuben sandwich is made with turkey and the OTB even varies the menu with daily specials. When we visited they included Irish lamb stew and macaroni & cheese. The lamb stew—with chunks of meat, potato, and carrot—came with several slices of raisin bread which we used to get the gravy from the large soup bowl to our waiting lips.
