Carnivores who move in packs will love the sheer "you must be kidding" size of the Picada Tierras Colombianas mixed-meat plate. It feeds two large people or four of average size. The spare ribs are crackly-chewy and good as are the earthy fried pork and beef. Joining them are mildly spicy Colombian sausage, scary black sausage, roast potatoes, yellow strips of starchy fried cassava, round green plantain cakes, and white corn cakes. Fish selections include shrimp, salmon, porgie, snapper, trout—and for two, the Paella Marinera a la Valenciana. Daily soup specials include: beef tripe (Monday), beef-veg (Tuesday), lentil (Wednesday), chicken (Thursday and Sunday), veg-meat (Friday), and oxtail (Saturday). Frescos and a zodiac-painted skylight enliven the inviting blue, green, and gilt space.
